Welcome from the
Lions Club of Cobourg

The Lions Club of Cobourg welcomes you and your family to the 2017 Lions Club of Cobourg Canada Day Celebration. Our Club and its members have a proud 27 year affiliation with the Cobourg Waterfront Festival held on the shores of Lake Ontario. The Lions Club of Cobourg Canada Day Celebration is centrally located in Victoria Park. The park is located south of the downtown core and north of our large sandy beach area.

The Lions Club of Cobourg Canada Day Celebration offers every family member an entertaining July 1st long weekend in Cobourg.

The Lions Marketplace has over 100 vendors offering a wide variety of merchandise that will delight shoppers of all ages. Our food and drink vendors are sure to satisfy your taste buds with a diverse range of food offerings.

For the patrons that want to take a break or sit and relax, the Lions Refreshment Tent will be offering cold drinks to quench your thirst. Located near the band shell, enjoy the live entertainment that will be performing during the entire festival.

The Lions Club of Cobourg is part of the largest service organization in the world and has been serving the Cobourg and surrounding area for 67 years. Funds raised during the Lions Club of Cobourg Canada Day Celebration goes to support many worthy projects and organizations within our community. The Northumberland Hills Hospital, Baltimore Arena, Cobourg Public Library, Salvation Army, Lions soccer fields and youth activities such as minor hockey, soccer, softball, army cadet corp, sea cadets, big brothers big sisters and high school scholarship programs are a few of the projects and organizations the Lions Club of Cobourg supports.

This event is a fund raiser and all funds raised are distributed back into our community. Please, come and support your community.

Thank you for your support and we welcome you to the 2017 Lions Club of Cobourg Canada Day Celebration and the Cobourg Waterfront Festival

George Laurencic, 2017-2018 President
