Waterfront Festival Parking
The Cobourg Waterfront Festival is located at Victoria Park & Rotary Harbourfront Park in downtown Cobourg. Parking at and around the park(s) is very limited. We offer and facilitate different modes of transportation to get to the festival.
Cobourg Waterfront Festival encourages safe and responsible drinking. If you plan on drinking or have had too much to drink, please do not drink and drive.
Cobourg Community Centre is on D'Arcy Street, south of Elgin Street East.
Northumberland Mall is on Elgin Street West, west
of Burnham Street. Donegan Park is on D'Arcy Street, south of King Street
The following road closures will be in effect during the Festival (see map above):
- Albert Street will be closed from Second to Division
- Division Street will be closed at Albert/Queen
- The Esplanade (including the east parking lot) will be closed
- Division Street at King will be one way south only
- Queen Street at Division will be one way east only
- McGill Street will be one way north only
- Queen Street will be closed from McGill to Church
- Charles Street will be closed
PLEASE NOTE – THERE WILL BE NO PARKING ON KING STREET
ON MONDAY, JULY 1
CARS WILL BE TOWED TO ALLOW FOR THE CANADA DAY PARADE TO PASS
The shuttle stops approximately every 30 minutes at each of these designated stops during the festival and brings you right to Victoria Park & Rotary Harbourfront Park (see map above for shuttle stop locations).

Saturday, June 29 ~ 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 30 ~ 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Monday, July 1 ~ 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 midnight (following the fireworks)

2. Northumberland Mall – 111 Elgin St. W., Cobourg K9A 5H7 FREE PARKING
3. Donegan Park – 25 D’Arcy St. Cobourg K9A 1R7 FREE PARKING

There is on-street parking available in the neighbourhoods surrounding the site. We ask that you respect property owners. Please do not block driveways, park on private property and do not enter private homes.
With the Honk app, residents and visitors can seamlessly search, pay for and top up parking from a phone.
Coin operated parking meters and Pay and Display machines will remain available. HonkMobile is available in addition to the existing payment options.
Parking for Reduced Mobility
Anyone with a permit who is using mobility aid such as a wheelchair, walker, cane, or crutches is able to park in spots designated for people with reduced mobility. McGill Street parking lot will have a number of additional spaces available.
Walk or Bike to the Park(s)
Cyclists are welcome! If you can, help us reduce our environmental footprint, and save on parking. Lock up, at your own risk, at our bike racks right around the Festival.
You’re probably no further than one bus away. Cobourg Transit will be operating free of charge over the Cobourg Waterfront Festival weekend (Saturday, June 29 to Sunday, July 1)
